The task of leadership is becoming ever more difficult, not least due to the challenging labour market situation and changing social values. Everyday business in particular sees conscious leadership come up short and leadership skills are often lacking. Use this course as an opportunity to further develop yourself as a leader: boost your own leadership skills, master leadership tools, encourage effective communication, recognise employee strengths and use them correctly. Get some fresh inspiration and find out how you can get the best out of yourself and others in your leadership role.
Day 1: Leadership and its competencies (09.30 - 17:00)
- Self-reflection - your own strengths and effectiveness as a leader
- Leadership model - your understanding of your own leadership role
- Leadership competences - recognise and improve
- Personality types – how to handle different personalities in everyday working life
- Efficiency in day-to-day management – creating time and space for management
- Team development – understand and encourage group dynamics
Day 2: Use of leadership tools (09.00 - 16:30)
- Aims - basis of successful leadership
- Communication rituals - what you cannot do without
- Coaching – challenging and encouraging employees
- Delegating – delegating responsibility and not just tasks
- Employee appraisals - conducting them competently and confidently
- Feedback – formulating it correctly
- Conflict management - recognise and calmly solve conflicts
- Event highlights: As a participant, you will develop the basic pillars of your leadership model and take specific implementation ideas, methods and instruments with you into your everyday leadership role.
