From Austria's alpine mountains in the west to the Mediterranean south and Pannonian east, the 33 establishments in the family austria Hotels & Apartments group welcome guest families who do not want to take their children on holiday, but rather want to have a holiday with their children.

In April 2012, Kohl & Partner assumed responsibility for the project management of this group. Since then, the Project Management team has worked in close cooperation with the board of the association, which is headed by chairman Oliver Schmeel from the Filzmooserhof in Filzmoos.

But it is not just board members who get to have a say. "The most important thing for us is that we act FOR the members and therefore invite them to actively participate in the annual family austria strategy day", says Kohl & Partner marketing consultant Rita Einöder.
One valuable outcome that emerged from these strategy days is the family austria holiday coach. The 33 family-run family austria Hotels & Apartments provide guests with personal service in the hotels and a great deal of freedom in the apartments, as well as the unique offer of a real holiday expert.
On request, this trained companion plans holidays from arrival to departure, is available on-site with tips and information and is the contact person for all questions during a guest's stay. Deputy chairman Dietmar Krenn from the Family & Sporthotel Kärntnerhof explains with pride and joy what the hosts are investing in this: "We train our holiday coaches on a regular basis. They keep things simple when it comes to managing the hotel offer and know the holiday region inside out.

With this knowledge, they can respond individually to the wishes of guests, who are then well-equipped to go on a voyage of discovery. The difference to many businesses that specialise in families is that the guests are not forced into activities, but inspired."
The member companies are also inspired and well looked after by family austria. The aim of the project management team is to put together the right marketing mix for the efficient acquisition of interested parties and guest inquiries, to encourage discussion between the members and, above all, the personal care of each individual member.
