Key elements of the project
As part of the "state-wide tourist innovation workshop", Tourismus NRW e.V., together with its eleven project partners, would like to accomplish the following by June 2019:
- Stimulate and inspire innovations
- Increase the competitiveness of tourism SMEs in North Rhine-Westphalia
- (Further) develop regional innovation networks
- Improve and promote high-end and barrier-free tourism in NRW
- Improve the image of NRW as an innovative travel destination
Two stages have been designed to help the innovation workshop be a success. Innovation coaches have trained in all regions as part of the initial stage and in the next stage, businesses and tourism professionals in the 11 partner regions are to be trained as part of an impulse program (consisting of 257 seminars and tourism workshops). Kohl & Partner will hold these 257 seminars and tourism workshops from September 2017 to June 2019 thanks to an expanded network of lecturers.
